Golf Club Access by Face Recognition

The problem

Golf clubs relied on RFID membership cards for facility access, creating delays when members forgot or lost their cards. Staff then had to manually verify membership, interrupting reception operations and reducing the member experience. Outside staffed hours, members could not be reliably authenticated or granted access, limiting use of the club’s facilities. Card-based access also did not provide a sufficiently convenient, card-independent experience for premium club members.

The solution

Ayonix deployed a contactless facial-recognition access control solution for golf club members.

• Registers each authorized member securely using facial biometric data.
• Verifies a member’s face at the entrance in real time and automatically unlocks the door or gate.
• Removes the need for RFID cards, manual membership checks, or replacement-card administration.
• Enables authorized members to access selected facilities during unstaffed hours.
• Applies configurable access rules by membership type, facility, date, and time.
• Provides secure access logs containing the verified member identity, entrance location, time, and result.
