Ayonix Public Surveillance is used for law enforcement by performing face surveillance in the city or at specific locations that police agencies do criminal investigation.

APS can operate as many cameras as needed. There is no limitation for upscaling the system. APS has a centralized alert management system so that all alerts are generated from the central location. APS has face image search from camera history, image search from Police criminal database or from Video files from Youtube or any source. In addition, APS allows police to conduct forensic search by comparing two images to confirm the identity of faces.

It deploys smart face matching topology inside an IP camera to map a person’s facial features from video streams. The system matches the information on databases to verify someone’s identity. Police departments regularly use this to find potential crime suspects and witnesses by scanning through millions of photos; the software is also used to provide surveillance at public venues like concerts and schools and used to gain access to specific properties.

A unique security feature of APS is that the images are not transferred to any server or cloud environment. Everything is done inside the Camera device and after the decision-making, the features are deleted forever.

Currently APS serves for Border control, Surveillance at International airports, City surveillance. APS customers are mainly police forces, Intelligence services, Military and Defense.

APS has many utilities such as forensic face analysis, searching a criminal or wanted person. Its suspect analyzer allows policemen to shortlist a person who may be a suspect before trouble happens in place. APS’s advanced log and event management utility lets policemen search a person from pictures regardless of person’s mask or hat, sunglasses.

It does match a person’s identity, finds a person in public spaces, search a particular person.

It works on both daytime and night vision. Especially at night, camera’s IR light helps our product to find a person from few hundreds of meters away.

Shoplifter hunting

APS is used for finding shoplifters and troublemakers in shops, malls, and where camera is installed in. Advanced alert system informs a security or staff to keep an eye on the potential shoplifter/troublemaker.

Alert system triggers a VMS (Video management system), sends email or message to the assigned phone number. It can close a door to trap the shoplifter.  All match activities are saved and backed up for 6 months.

The Military and Defense ministries of various countries continue to increase their budget by double figures comparing with the previous year. This is on top of the budget that governments spend on AI Technologies, especially Face recognition.

There is undoubtedly much interest for governments for plumbing the depth and potential of Face recognition for defense and military use, and it is a significant step in the right direction to know APS for Military use. Facial recognition is a non-contact method for identity search and verification. Images and video may be captured without interaction of person, which makes it an efficient and effective security method. Input data can be from any source such as mobile phone, Youtube, social media.

APS has a graphical interface to display the results on a Dashboard. It has automatic enrollment, a robust messaging system and event view history, camera playback.

APS generates pdf reports, sends commands to command monitoring center, gives an alert signal.

Highlights

Speedy match

Face matches are done under 1 second(25fps). If there are multiple people in front of camera, this matching time slows down linearly with the number of people. However, we guarantee real time processing by all means.

 

High accuracy

Accuracy in an indoor and outdoor is 96% and 93% respectively. Face mask, angle, light, camera quality, number of people in the database and environment drops the accuracy in some degree but the accuracy is always more than 85% which is a high accuracy in uncontrolled environments.

AIBOX

AIBOX is a processing unit for camera. Each camera needs one AIBOX. AIBOX is a small, 4cm x 4cm mini box.

2Mp IP camera is used. Existing IP camera can be used or we can offer new camera as a package

PC

PC is used for managing the multiple cameras, enrollments and match rules and configurations, match events of the system, backup and emails.
